Tech Data to sell BlackBerry

CLEARWATER -- Tech Data Corp. (symbol: TECD) entered into a product agreement with Research In Motion that allows the Clearwater-based technology distributor to sell BlackBerry devices. Tech Data partners with 60,000 technology resellers across the U.S., providing an expanded platform for RIM's North American sales.

Tech Data earned $334 million in operating income in its most recent fiscal year, with $24.4 billion in revenues. Its stock price is up nearly 8% in the past year, to slightly more than $43 a share.

Research In Motion generated $4.6 billion in operating income from $19.9 billion in revenues in its most recent fiscal year. The company's stock touched a new 52-week low in early Monday trading of $20.14 a share. The stock's current 52-week high is $70.54.
