PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Fort Myers-based Consolidated Citrus Limited Partnership purchased a 12,741-square-foot office and two model homes for $600,000.

The price equates to $47 per square-foot for the office space.

Gary Tasman of Commercial Property Southwest Florida LLC, a Cushman and Wakefield alliance member, represented the buyer.

“The office building was in pretty good shape,” says Tasman. “It used to be a homebuilder's headquarters. But the two models were not in that good of shape.”

Consolidated Citrus, one of the nation's largest citrus growers, plans to use the office building as its new corporate headquarters.

Tasman says the buyer was looking for a relocation opportunity so it could own its building. Consolidated Citrus currently leases space at 4210 Metro Parkway, Fort Myers.
