Brandon Honda to be sold

BRANDON — Brandon Honda on Adamo Drive will soon be sold, and all 94 of the dealership's current employees might lose their jobs.

The Jacksonville-based Scott-McRae Group is selling the dealership to Morgan Auto Group, which is also based in Jacksonville. In a release, Scott-McRae CEO David Hodges says the sale would help his company reduce its debt.

Last week, Scott-McRae filed a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the state, confirming that 94 employees could be impacted by the sale.
