Humana hires another 200

TAMPA — Humana Inc. (symbol: HUM) will hire 200 additional full-time employees for its national Medicare service operations center in Tampa by the end of September.

The newest round of hiring will give Humana 2,400 employees in the Tampa Bay area, 1,300 of which will be full-time workers, a release says.

The announcement marks Humana's fourth hiring announcement for the Tampa Bay area in the past year. In June, Humana announced that it would add 140 employees by the end of the summer; last April, it said it would hire 177 new employees; and in September 2010, the company hired 270 new workers.
