PwC leases 250K square feet

TAMPA - PricewaterhouseCoopers will move 2,000 Tampa-area partners and staff to the MetWest International building in Tampa's Westshore district in 2013, after signing a long-term lease with MetLife recently.

PwC will anchor a mixed-use development that, when completed, will offer nearly 1 million square feet of Class A office space, along with a 74,200-square-foot retail center, plus hundreds of hotel rooms and residential units. PwC has not yet disclosed specific financial terms of the agreement.

The 2,000 employees PwC plans to move to its new location are currently distributed between two Tampa offices: one at 4221 W. Boy Scout Blvd., and the other at 3109 and 3111 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
