CFSC names Jerde president

SARASOTA — The Community Foundation of Sarasota County named Roxanne Jerde its newest president and CEO. Jerde comes to the foundation after serving the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation as a senior vice president.

Founded in 1979 by the Southwest Florida Estate Planning Council, the CFSC is a public charity that aims to connect individuals with community causes. The group manages $182 million in assets.

Jerde will join the CFSC in March, after moving to Sarasota with her husband Michael, a retired attorney.
