Ward to lead Custom Cable

TAMPA — Custom Cable Industries, a Tampa-based network connectivity company with national presence, today named Thomas Ward as its newest president.

In June, Custom Cable filed a voluntary petition to reorganize under Chapter 11 bankruptcy. High debt levels combined with litigation claims filed by former executives and lenders forced the company to sell some of its assets.

Now, General Manager Gregg Stewart says Custom Cable is ready to reemerge. “The resultant asset purchase has set the stage for Custom Cable's future growth,” Stewart said, adding that the newly appointed Ward “is the right person to lead that.”
