USAA to hire 160 in Tampa

TAMPA — USAA, the San Antonio, Texas-based firm that provides financial advice to military personnel, will hire 160 additional workers in Tampa this year. The firm is already one of the area's largest employers, with 2,000 Tampa area residents on staff to date.

In fact, 60 new employees have already been hired. Another 100 workers could be added to the payroll by the end of March, a release said.

USAA's Tampa employees work from its Southwest Regional Office, located on Commerce Park Boulevard. The building was the first in the state to receive LEED Gold certification.
