Maisto joins Caldwell board

VENICE — Marge Maisto, the former president and CEO of Tidewell Hospice Inc. in Sarasota, is the newest appointee to the Caldwell Trust Co. board of directors.

During her 10 years with the non-profit, Maisto more than tripled the number of patients served by Tidewell Hospice, and saw the organization's annual budget grow from $16.8 million to $92 million.

Since retiring from Tidewell, she has been involved with State College of Florida's nursing program, the Women's Resource Center in Sarasota, and the Community Foundation of Sarasota County's Nonprofit Resource Center, a release said.
