Scherer Construction completes Miami family store

St. Petersburg-based Scherer Construction of West Florida LLC completed the design/build renovation and addition to an existing Salvation Army Family Store at 9790 Bird Road, Miami.

Interior demolition began in September on the 12,200-square-foot store. Renovations included replaced flooring, acoustical ceiling, fixtures and cashier and break-room counters. The project also required renovating the front of the store with doors, signage and site lighting.
