Fort Myers architecture firm to design Hodges University expansion

Fort Myers-based Sheeley Architects Inc. has been commissioned by Hodges University to provide architectural design services for the expansion of the Hodges University Fort Myers Campus.


Sheeley designed a University Campus Master Plan in concert with the Hodges 2020 Vision. The firm is currently in the design stage for the first classroom building. The building will be a 48,000-square-foot, three-story structure. It will house classrooms, faculty offices and a student union. The project is schedule for completion at the end of 2011.


McMenamy Properties LLC purchased a 2,651-square-foot industrial building and vacant land from Busey Bank for $60,000. The building is at 1949 Custom Drive, Fort Myers, and the nearby land is at 1904 Honda Drive, Fort Myers. Richard Clarke of Grubb & Ellis|1st Commercial represented the seller and Jim McMenamy of Re/Max Realty Group represented the buyer.
