Ft. Myers consultancies combine

Two professional services firms in Fort Myers combined earlier this month. Gilbert, Wallace, Stewart, Stramel & Sowers P.A. (GWSSS) joined Hill, Barth & King LLC (HBK).

GWSSS relocated its staff to HBK's Fort Myers office, a release said. The move increased HBK's professional staff to more than 280 employees, placing it among the 100 largest accounting firms in the nation.

“Our clients benefit from the collective experience of our industry groups,” explained Chris Allegretti, CEO at HBK, “which include construction, healthcare, condominium/homeowner associations and family-owned businesses.”
