BUYER: BT & ST Enterprises LLC (principal: William Treffert), Naples

SELLER: First American Bank

PROPERTY: 28951 Trails Edge Blvd., Bonita Springs

PRICE: $875,000

PREVIOUS PRICE: $850,000, August 1999

LAW FIRM ON DEED: John M. Wicker PA, Fort Myers

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: William Treffert of Naples purchased the 7,049-square-foot former Wolcott Marine building for $875,000.

The price equated to $124 per square foot.

Wolcott Marine operated from the Bonita Springs building until First American Bank foreclosed on the property earlier this year. Wolcott Marine has since moved its boat dealership operations to Naples, which left the Trails Edge Boulevard building vacant.

The 1.59-acre property features a paved yard.

Randal Mercer and Rob Mintz of CB Richard Ellis, Fort Myers/Naples represented the seller and Steve Sims of Downing-Frye Realty Inc. represented the buyer.

Treffert currently doesn't have long-term plans for the property. But in the short term he will likely use it to house a personal car collection, Sims says.

“We were looking for about a year for industrial properties that were a little more upscale,” says Sims. “It's a unique building.”
