Albritton joins Phelps Dunbar

A. Brian Albritton, former U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida, joined Phelps Dunbar LLP's Tampa office as a partner. He will focus on complex commercial litigation, white-collar crimes, and regulatory law.

Albritton said he was drawn to Phelps Dunbar by the chance to create a regional practice focused on white-collar crimes, as well as the opportunity to work with another former U.S. Attorney in Harry Rosenberg, a partner in the firm's New Orleans office.

The Business Review profiled Albritton in March 2009. The story tracks Albritton's journey from a job in the kitchen at Cafe L'Europe to the U.S. Attorney's office.
