AGIS merges with BSG

AGIS, a Michigan-based insurance agency, has merged with Tampa's Benefits Solutions Group. BSG will now do business as AGIS Tampa.

AGIS specializes in designing and maintaining employee benefit programs for its clients. The company first opened its doors in 1978.

The merger gives AGIS its fifth office nationwide. In addition to the Tampa location and its headquarters in Birmingham, Mich., other offices are located in Jacksonville and Winter Park, Fla., and in Indianapolis.
