BUYER: JPMorgan Chase Bank NA, Boca Raton


SELLER: SMR North 70 LLC


PROPERTY: 6020 Lakewood Ranch Blvd., Bradenton


PRICE: $2 million


LAW FIRM ON DEED: Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc., Lakewood Ranch; Daniel Perka, attorney.


PLANS, DESCRIPTION: JPMorgan Chase Bank NA purchased a 4,949-square-foot former LandMark Bank of Florida branch for $2 million.


The price equated to $404 per square foot.


The two-year-old building occupies a 1.76-acre parcel. A JPMorgan Chase media relations official declined to comment on its plans for the property, but it's likely the building will be used for a future branch for the bank.


JPMorgan Chase has purchased a number of financial buildings and land on the Gulf Coast recently. In September, the bank acquired an acre outparcel in the Shoppes at Hammock Cove in Naples for $1.05 million and a former Regions Bank building on Lithia Pinecrest Road in Valrico for $925,000.
