SELLER: Glenn Blome as individual and trustee of the Glenn H. Blome Revocable Trust

PROPERTY: 4150 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota

PRICE: $1.23 million

PREVIOUS PRICE: $1.08 million, January 1995

PLANS, DESCRIPTION: Miami area apartment owners Roberto and Orlando Alberro purchased the 30-unit Strathmore Garden South complex for $1.23 million.

The price equated to $40,833 per unit.

Peter Bartys of Michael Saunders & Co. Commercial Group handled the transaction. The Alberros plan to improve and hold the 40-year-old complex as an investment. The partners own similar properties in Miami, Bartys says, and sought a property in Sarasota for a while.

The 27,522-square-foot, three-story property occupies a 1.2-acre parcel.
