Bob Greenhalgh's responsibilities with Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. just got a little broader, by six more states.
The president and co-founder of Connected Office Products Inc. in Tampa has been named Southeast regional president of TABS, overseeing at least 800 employees from Florida to Pennsylvania with total annual revenue of $150 million.
Greenhalgh has been with TABS since 2001, when he sold his company to Toshiba. He says the $50 million firm, which was established in 1997, exceeded its goal of doubling in size within five years of joining the major copier/printer manufacturer.
A graduate of Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in economics, he started his career with Xerox Corp. in New Jersey as a sales representative, then moved on to Apple Inc. and was promoted to Southeast regional manager for its education division. He joined Danka Office Imaging in 1994 as vice president of acquisitions, then left with a colleague to form Connected Office Products.
“[H]is organization continually exceeds industry benchmarks, even in one of the most challenging times in economic history,” Mark Matthews, TABS president and CEO, said in announcing Greenhalgh's promotion.
