Bennett calls for McCarty resignation

In an extraordinary move, state Sen. Mike Bennett, R-Bradenton, is charging that Florida Insurance Commissioner Kevin McCarty was “dishonest” in dealing with the Legislature over a new insurance law and is asking for his resignation.
