TAMPA — Technology and software development company Vendita Technology Group will relocate its headquarters from Toledo, Ohio, to Tampa.

According to a press release, the company plans to create up to 15 new jobs by 2019. It also plans to invest $500,000 in a new headquarters facility. The press release also states the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation supported Vendita with real estate surveys and property searches; relocation assistance; and connections to industry partners.

“Tampa's technology industry has been generating buzz around the country, and prompted us to look at this market as a serious contender for our headquarters relocation,” says Vendita President Doug Sullinger in the statement. “The talent pool, lifestyle, and cost of living here is extremely favorable, and the business climate really won us over.”

Vendita works with companies such as Oracle and IBM on cloud workplaces, information technology services and license management. The company is a certified woman-owned minority business enterprise. It was founded in 2008 and currently employs 14.
