BRADENTON — National homebuilder and developer Taylor Morrison recently broke ground on The Heights community in Bradenton.

According to a press release, the homebuilder will bring two new neighborhoods, Esplanade at The Heights and Grandview at The Heights, to the 200-acre development.

The Heights will have views of a 255-acre lake, elevated walking trails, outdoor recreation lawns and sitting areas, the release adds. "With our new community, The Heights, we're bringing some of Taylor Morrison's most popular home options and community amenities to the area," says Cammie Longenecker, division president of Taylor Morrison Southwest Florida, in the statement.

Esplanade at The Heights is expected to offer amenities including a resort-style pool and spa, cabana area, fitness center, tennis, pickleball and bocce ball courts, and a dog park. An on-site lifestyle manager will plan social events. Homes in the neighborhood are expected to feature California Tuscan-inspired architecture.

Grandview at The Heights will have amenities including a pool and cabana area, splash park, grilling area and a basketball court. The neighborhood will have a selection of floor plans with upgrade options.

Taylor Morrison Home Corp. is based in Scottsdale, Ariz. The company operates under two brands, Taylor Morrison and Darling Homes.
