RIVERVIEW — Sprouts Farmers Market, a fast-growing retail grocery chain, plans to continue its foray into the Florida market with a new store in Riverview.
According to a press release, the Phoenix-based specialty grocer has acquired a location for the store in the Summerfield Crossing Shopping Center. An opening date has not been announced.
Sprouts has been aggressively expanding in the Sunshine State, with five stores already open and eight more, including the Riverview location, in the works.
According to the release, the majority of the new Sprouts Farmers Market stores are slated to open in Gulf Coast communities including Naples, Clearwater and Trinity.
