TAMPA — SoFresh, a fast-casual restaurant concept that serves nutritious, made-to-order meals that are quick and healthy, plans to open new locations this fall, one in Carrollwood and one in Lakeland, in addition to a previously announced expansion in Tampa’s Westshore Town Center.

According to a press release, the Carrollwood restaurant will be at 14398 North Dale Mabry in the Shoppes of Carrollwood. The Lakeland eatery will be part of a Publix-anchored shopping center at 4756 Florida Ave. S.

“We are excited to bring SoFresh to Carrollwood and Lakeland,” founder and Vice President John Williams Jr. states in the release. “Both markets have been on our radar for quite some time. We’re glad that we have been able to secure great locations and great franchise partners.”

The Carrollwood franchise will be owned and operated by hotelier Jay Patel, the release states, while Kareem Mustafa is the Lakeland franchisee.

SoFresh has 12 locations open and committed to open in Florida and Pennsylvania, according to the release, with several others in development.
