SARASOTA — Pool service franchise Poolwerx is expanding its business to north Sarasota.
The company specializes in creating and maintaining healthy pools for residential and commercial customers. According to a press release, its new retail location is at 8436 North Lockwood Ridge Road. It also has a fleet of mobile service and repair vehicles. It will serve customers in the Sarasota, Bradenton and Lakewood Ranch areas.
The territories will be managed by Poolwerx franchise owners Amy and Stephen Schroeder, the release adds.
“When looking to expand in Florida, we knew Amy and Stephen would be the perfect franchise partners to help us grow,” says Poolwerx CEO and founder John O’Brien in the statement. “The couple’s entrepreneurial spirit, paired with their passion for helping Florida families live out their dreams, are the keys to their success, and we look forward to seeing their business thrive in the Sarasota and Bradenton areas.”
Poolwerx was founded by O’Brien in Australia in 1992. It has locations in Australia and New Zealand and began developing in the U.S. Sunbelt in 2015. The company now has 66 locations across seven states. Poolwerx provides services including chemical testing, equipment repair and regular pool servicing.
