NAPLES — Alexandra Brennan, an 18-year employee of luxury homebuilder Harwick Homes who began as a receptionist, has been promoted to the newly created position of senior project manager. Brennan has been involved in the construction of more than 100 custom homes for the company, totaling nearly $250 million in value.

During her career, Brennan served as a production manager and estimator before being promoted to project manager. She was instrumental in founding the company’s Maintain-It program, a home maintenance service for seasonal residents, according to a statement.

“Alex is a huge asset to the company,” says Harwick Homes President Mark Smith in the statement. “Her work ethic and knowledge of construction are unparalleled and we wouldn’t be where we are today without her. She is an exceptional leader and role model for other women hoping to rise to hold higher positions in the industry.”

Prior to joining Harwick Homes, Brennan, according to the statement, was a licensed dynamite blaster, overseeing the blasting of bedrock to create many of the ponds and lakes in Naples communities.
