SARASOTA — A Sarasota-based engineered motion control and electronic controls technology company recently joined Forbes list of America's best mid-size companies at No. 39.
The ranking Helios Technologies Inc. received was out of 100 companies that were picked to highlight the businesses financial performance.

More than 1,000 companies with a share price of at least $5 and market value between $2 billion to $10 billion were reviewed for the list. The data from FactSet was combed for the list. Helios’ ranking was determined by its earnings and sales growth, return on equity and total stock return over the last five years as well as the last 12 months.
