NAPLES — Mercato, a high-end lifestyle shopping center in Naples, has added three new tenants, including a high-tech fitness studio, clothing boutique and Italian-influenced pub.

The fitness studio is Manduu, which uses electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to jolt muscles into contraction via impulses sent through electrodes placed on the skin, according to a statement. Opening next to CycleBar, the 1,337-square-foot Manduu provides Manduu-issued workout gear fitted with carbon-fiber electrodes. Guests then go through an ultra-low impact workout with Manduu pros challenging them to take on more resistance during each guest’s 15-minute session, the release adds.

The pub, Bar Tulia, founded by Naples chef Vincenzo Betulia, includes a beverage menu comprised of wines from small, select villages in Italy, the U.S. and other international locations. The bar also has a variety of local hand-crafted beers on tap as well as a selection of signature craft cocktails created with house-infused and top-shelf liquors and  fresh-squeezed juices, the release states. The food menu features antipasti, wood-oven pizzas, piattini, house made pastas, farm-fresh salads, snacks, classic pub entrees and revolving blackboard specials such as house-made charcuterie and cheeses. The 3,185-square-foot Bar Tulia is expected to open this spring, the release states.

A third new tenant, La Bella Vida, which means “The Beautiful Life,” according to the release, is a 1,435-square-foot boutique clothing store expected to open in February.

In addition to the new tenants, Mercato has renewed its lease agreement with Arturo Samaniego Contemporary Abstracts, a popular gallery offering breathtaking abstract art.

Managed and leased by Madison Marquette, Mercato is a mixed-use lifestyle shopping center offering 315,000 square feet of main-street-style retail, restaurant and entertainment. Anchors are Nordstrom Rack and Whole Foods Market, and tenants include Silverspot, a 12-screen luxury cinema, and more than 20 restaurants.

“At Mercato, we’re excited to start the new year off with the addition of three brand-new tenants and the continuation of our agreement with the center’s trendy Arturo Samaniego pop-up art gallery,” Mercato Senior Marketing Director Valerie Cope says in the release. “The new Bar Tulia, Manduu and La Bella Vida are each unique additions to the center that are sure to resonate with our visitors, and their decision to open locations at Mercato is a testament to the center’s popularity among local shoppers.”
