Construction firm completes medical company’s headquarters

The new Mercedes Scientific headquarters includes executive office space, a warehouse and a distribution facility.

LAKEWOOD RANCH — Commercial construction firm Halfacre Construction Co. recently finalized a new 54,667-square-foot corporate headquarters for national laboratory products distribution company Mercedes Scientific.  

The 5-acre site is at 12210 Rangeland Parkway in Lakewood Ranch. It is part of the Collaboration Opportunities for Research and Exploration, or CORE research park, a 305-acre biotech industrial district, according to a statement.
