Cybersecurity startup names industry veteran to board as growth picks up

Andrew Peterson has previous experience of scaling up startups including one that ended in an $825 million sale.

SARASOTA — A new board member for Nucleus Security was announced as the company heads into uncharted waters of scaling up the startup.  

The Sarasota-based startup designed a program that provides vulnerability management solutions. The Nucleus program automates vulnerability management processes and workflows, allowing companies to mitigate vulnerabilities. To help the startup navigate growth,  Andrew Peterson was appointed to its advisory board. He joins early Nucleus adviser and investor Jim Manico on the board and brings 20 years of experience as a founder, CEO, board member and investor.
