GTE Financial has promoted longtime employee Lisa Cathey to assistant vice president of marketing.
According to a news release, Cathey joined the Tampa-based credit union in 2012 as a teller. Over the past decade, she has been promoted several times, first to member experience officer, then loan officer, business development officer and as community financial educator. Prior to being named assistant vice president of marketing, she served as Engagement Marketing Manager.
“As assistant vice president of marketing, I plan on implementing marketing strategies to increase the innovative member experience in relation to our products and services,” Cathey states in the release. “I am forever grateful to GTE for investing in their employees and promoting within to create more opportunities for employees at all levels.”
As of March 31, 2022, GTE Financial had $2.85 billion in total assets, 5,757 members and more than 20 banking centers across the Tampa Bay region.
