Ad agency names new creative director

Sergio Rodriguez, who's worked with prominent brands such as General Motors, United Healthcare and Dunkin' Donuts, joins Clearwater-based FKQ Advertising + Marketing Inc.

FKQ Advertising + Marketing Inc., a full-service marketing agency headquartered in Clearwater, has tapped Sergio Rodriguez for the role of executive creative director.

According to a news release, Rodriguez most recently worked for CCOMGROUP, where his accounts included Florida Power and Light, United Healthcare, the U.S. Navy, Dunkin’ Donuts and Johnson & Johnson. At FKQ, he will lead the agency’s creative strategy and brand stewardship efforts, in addition to managing a team of creative professionals.

“Sergio creates compelling and memorable work for brands,” FKQ Executive Vice President George Ferris states in the release. “That, coupled with experience inspiring others with his strategic vision, passion and teamwork mindset, made him a natural fit to join FKQ.
