Fort Myers-based home builder Christopher Alan Homes is expanding into the Ocala market, with construction already underway on its first homes inside the Marion Oaks master-planned community.
Prices for the new, single-family homes will start in the high $200,000s, the company announced Wednesday. There are also plans to open a regional sales office nearby as the home builder continues growing its presence across West Central Florida.
Exactly where and when that office will be opened have yet to be announced.
“Ocala is an important part of our continued growth in West Central Florida,” Executive Vice President Kristine Smale says in the release. “We see strong opportunity in the Marion Oaks area and across the region, and establishing a dedicated sales office here reflects our long-term commitment to serving buyers in these markets.”
In 2025 alone, Christopher Alan Homes says it closed 555 homes across Southwest Florida and the Palm Bay area, bringing the total number of homes completed since the company was founded in 2017 to more than 3,800.
Once the new sales office opens, prospective homebuyers in Marion Oaks, Citrus Springs and the greater Ocala area will be able to meet directly with Christopher Alan Homes representatives, explore available homes and floor plans and learn more about the company’s financing opportunities, the release says.

Located in southwest Ocala, Marion Oaks is a sprawling, master-planned community covering about 30 miles with nearly 24,000 residents, according to the most recent U.S. Census Bureau figures. Inside the community, Christopher Alan Homes will offer newly-built homes ranging from 1,469 to 2,035 square feet with three to four bedrooms, two to three bathrooms and two- or three-car garages.
Each floor plan includes covered lanais.
The builder also offers its On Your Lot program in the community for customers who already own land and want to build a Christopher Alan Home on their property, the release says. The homes feature steel-reinforced concrete masonry construction, hurricane-impact windows and doors, quartz countertops, plank tile flooring in main living areas and stainless-steel appliances.
