Water filtration systems manufactured in Manatee County will soon be available in more places around the globe. Epic Water Filters recently announced new partnerships with distributors in Canada and the United Kingdom.
From water pitchers to under-sink systems, Epic Water Filters products are engineered to reduce a range of contaminants. Its newest filters cut down on PFAS, lead, chlorine, fluoride, microbiologicals and microplastics.
In addition to the United States, the company's products are available in Australia and Singapore.
Recently, the Palmetto-based manufacturer signed an agreement with Purifi Water, a distributor in Canada, to lead the brand’s expansion there.
“There’s a clear need for high-performance filtration that fits into everyday life, whether that’s a pitcher on your countertop or an under-sink system,” Purifi Water President Tim Mark says in a statement. “Epic’s technology delivers on both convenience and capability, which is something we don’t see often in this category.”
Leading the brand’s expansion in the United Kingdom will be Emma Paris, who says she discovered Epic Water Filters while in Singapore.
“I’m thrilled to bring the Epic brand to the UK market,” Paris says in the statement. “There’s a growing awareness here that many existing filtration options simply don't go far enough, and Epic offers a compelling alternative.”
Moving forward, the company plans to keep expanding.
“Europe represents a natural next step for Epic as we continue to scale globally,” Epic Water Filters COO Oliver Crane says in the statement. “We’re seeing the same trend across EU markets that we saw in North America: consumers are becoming far more educated about what’s actually in their water, and they’re demanding filtration that goes beyond the basics.”
The company's proprietary filters consist of two parts: pleated nano-fiber material and carbon block.
Epic Water Filters has a production facility in Palmetto as well as on-site lab, where it tests its filters to ensure they are removing contaminants.
In 2025, Epic Water Filters produced about 30,000 water filters a month, a metric that was projected to increase to approximately 50,000 filters a month over the next two years due to demand, the Business Observer previously reported.
“Our focus in 2027 is to build the right distribution partnerships to support that demand while maintaining the integrity of our American manufacturing, NSF-certified performance and supply chain control,” Crane says. “We’re not interested in being everywhere; we’re focused on being the most trusted.”
