The largest credit union in Florida has partnered with Tampa’s Glazer Children’s Museum, making a $125,000 donation to the museum and providing exclusive ticket deals for its members.

Tampa-based Suncoast Credit Union announced its new partnership with the Glazer Children’s Museum Monday, along with its $125,000 donation that will be used in the course of five years. That money will help the museum bring in new programs and exhibits, as well as fund operations and other projects, the release says.

“Supporting children and their futures has been at the heart of Suncoast Credit Union’s mission since our beginning in 1934,” Kevin Johnson, President and CEO of Suncoast Credit Union, says in the release.

Along with the partnership comes a new exhibit at the children’s museum: Suncoast Imagination Station. The exhibit includes an expansive, interactive table holding train tracks that wind through changeable landscapes children can help create with buildings, bridges and landscaping.

The exhibit is designed for accessibility, with multiple height levels to ensure that every child — including those in wheelchairs — can fully participate. Interactive crawl-through spaces and center cut-outs also allow children to move around, through and within the exhibit, which is designed to support critical aspects of early childhood development.

“We’re proud to partner with Suncoast Credit Union to expand what’s possible for families at the museum,” Sarah Cole, President and CEO of Glazer Children’s Museum, says in the release.

Chartered in 1934 as Hillsborough County Teachers Credit Union, Suncoast Credit Union currently operates 80 full-service branches and serves nearly 1.4 million members across Florida with $20.7 billion in assets. It’s the seventh-largest credit union in the U.S. based on membership and the 10th largest in the U.S. based on assets.
