Trammell Crow Co., the Dallas commercial real estate developer, has bought 10 acres in Hillsborough County, where it will build a single-story industrial center on spec.

The developer’s plan calls for the construction of a 136,714-square-foot warehouse at 9447 E. Fowler Ave., a property in Thonotosassa, a community just outside of Tampa in a northeast corner of the county.

The New Tampa Commerce Center, as it will be called, will feature a 32-foot clear height shallow bay warehouse and is scheduled to be completed by January.

Trammell Crow bought the property for $5.65 million, according to county records. The previous owner was Happy Travel RV Park & Resort, which paid $7.68 million for it in 2022.

(While Trammel lists the address as 9447 E. Fowler Ave., county property records show it to be 9401 E. Fowler Ave.)

Trammell Crow, a subsidiary of the CBRE Group, had $10.1 billion worth of project in its pipeline as of Dec. 31, according to its website.
