The Hoffmann Family of Cos. retail venture The Augusta Clothing Co. is set to open its new store in Naples this weekend.

The upscale shop is in a renovated real estate office at 601 5th Ave. S. in the city’s trendy commercial district. While it officially opens Saturday, March 21, there is a soft opening planned for Friday, March 20.

The boutique is the company’s second The Augusta Clothing Co. retail store. The original, which opened in 2022, is in Augusta, Missouri.

The boutique will, like its original location, specialize in clothing and accessories personally curated by Jeri Hoffmann, the matriarch of the family run business empire.

Hoffmann, in an interview with the Business Observer last year, said the focus is going to be on attracting women starting in their late 20s and through their 70s “that have a kind of a professional look about them and mission about them.”

“But I also want them to be fun. And, you know, we do things that are on trend and on point, but we also do things that they can build a wardrobe out of.”

The Hoffmann Family of Cos., which has offices in Naples, Chicago and St. Louis, owns more than 125 companies with 400 locations in 30 countries and employs 17,000 people. Its interests range from dairies to newspapers.

The company, which also has large commercial real estate holdings, bought the building the shop is in last year for $6.5 million.

The Augusta Clothing Co.’s Naples store, according to a statement, will be led by Andrea Pereira, who previously served as assistant store director for Gucci’s Naples store and held a similar position with Hermès.
