Lee Health clinic in Babcock Ranch grows

A primary care clinic has grown in size and capacity in Babcock Ranch. The Lee Health Family Medicine clinic at 42880 Crescent Loop opened its newly expanded facility, which now includes an on-site lab, on Tuesday.

The clinic has increased its primary care bandwidth, growing to eight primary care exam rooms. It was not immediately available how many exam rooms there were before.

The expansion will allow for more appointment availability and shorter wait times, according to a statement from Lee Health.

In addition to adding space, the clinic plans to increase staff; the expansion will enable Lee Health Family Medicine clinic to welcome an additional health care provider in the future, according to a statement.

The clinic has also opened an on-site lab draw station where people can get lab testing done in the same setting as their primary care visits.

“Our goal is to continue growing alongside the Babcock Ranch community and to make high-quality, convenient care more accessible for our patients,” Kris Fray, Lee Health chief administrative officer of Lee Physician Group and ambulatory services, says in the statement. “By expanding our clinic and adding lab services, we’re able to streamline care, reduce the need for patients to travel elsewhere for services and better support the health of the community as it continues to grow.”
