Port 32 Marinas has expanded its Tampa presence with new floating docks and slips, the company announced Monday, adding more berthing space for both resident and transient boaters on Tampa Bay.
Located near the mouth of Old Tampa Bay at 5200 W. Tyson Ave. in Tampa, Port 32 Tampa offers direct access to both Tampa and St. Petersburg and lies within minutes of premier offshore fishing grounds along Florida’s Gulf Coast, the company says. The marina now operates 607 dry slips for vessels up to 42 feet in length with a 12-foot beam and 15 wet slips for vessels up to 65 feet in length with a 20-foot beam.
Built for both storage efficiency and on-water performance, the new 50 foot and 60 foot floating slips are now available for immediate lease, according to a release. At the center of the new dock is a state-of-the-art wave attenuator engineered to maintain calm slip conditions regardless of bay activity, ensuring a stable and protected environment for moored vessels.
Each slip includes 30-amp and 50-amp electrical service as well as dedicated, on-slip water connections, giving boaters full utility access at their dock. An on-site fuel dock is stocked with ethanol-free Rec 90 and Diesel gas and ice, allowing for extended stays without requiring boaters to leave the property.
“Adding additional floating dock capacity at Port 32 Tampa is about giving our members more options and more confidence every time they head out on the water,” CEO Austin Schell says in the release.
Based in Charleston, South Carolina, Port 32 is an owner, operator, developer and acquirer of multiple marina assets in markets across the coasts of both Florida and North Carolina. Since its inception in 2015, Port 32 has developed marinas in locations including Jacksonville, Palm Beach Gardens, Fort Lauderdale, Lighthouse Point, Tierra Verde, Tampa, Naples, Cape Coral, Marco Island and Morehead City, North Carolina.
