Manatee moving company adds commercial division

A Manatee County-based moving company has launched a new division providing white-glove moving, logistics, receiving and installation service to commercial clients. Spirit Movers recently rolled out its latest offering, called Strategic Commercial Solutions.

SCS is geared toward supporting businesses like interior designers, health care systems, corporate offices and hospitality brands that require a logistics partner to bring their “visions to life without the friction of traditional freight or moving hurdles,” according to a statement.

The SCS team at Spirit Movers can support everything from commercial receiving to white-glove installation. Staff can inspect and document high-value inventory; store delicate assets in an air-conditioned warehouse; deliver and install materials to exact specifications; and handle project management to support timelines and site requirements.

Introducing SCS comes as the company expands its reach beyond residential moves.

“For decades, Spirit Movers has built a reputation on trust and excellence across local, long-distance and international residential relocations,” Spirit Movers owner Ryne Johnson says in the statement. “With the launch of SCS, we are applying that same level of care to a relational, one-stop-shop model for the commercial sector. We aren’t just a vendor; we are an extension of our clients’ teams.”

Johnson, a 2024 Business Observer 40 Under 40 honoree, has built a commercial portfolio for Spirit Movers over the past several years. One of the company’s largest clients is Sarasota Memorial Hospital, for which it handled receiving and delivery of everything from batteries to AI-assisted robotic operating tables in 2021 when the system opened its Venice hospital.
