An ATV manufacturer based in Manatee County, Recreatives Industries Inc., has entered into a manufacturer’s representative agreement that it says will accelerate its dealer expansion and commercial market growth.

Recreatives Industries, a publicly traded firm (OTC: RECX) makes amphibious, six-wheel-drive all-terrain vehicles called MAX. They start around $15,000, according to the company’s website.

Under the agreement, TRL Outdoors LLC doing business as Muddog Amphibious Vehicles will represent the full MAX product lineup across the country.

Previously, TRL Outdoors has represented Hydra-Trek and Land Tamer, makers of industrial-grade amphibious vehicles priced above $100,000 and frequently over $150,000, according to a statement.

“TRL Outdoors has firsthand experience selling premium amphibious vehicles into demanding commercial environments,” Recreatives Industries CEO Andrew Lapp says in a statement. “Their understanding of dealer development, combined with MAX’s proven designs and compelling value proposition, positions us well as we expand into new regions and applications.”

This spring, Recreatives Industries will launch a four-passenger ATV model called MAX 4. In the summer, it plans to introduce the Buffalo Truck, a two-passenger ATV with a powered tilt bed that can carry 1,000 pounds on land, designed for industrial and land management use.

As the MAX 4 and Buffalo models come to market, Recreatives Industries anticipates TRL Outdoors will expand MAX’s presence in utility, industrial and commercial sectors.

“This agreement aligns with our strategy,” Lapp says, “of expanding deliberately and building a high-quality dealer network.”

In August 2025, Recreatives Industries entered into a distribution agreement with a U.K.-based company to accelerate its international sales growth.
