Cheesecake Factory’s new Pasco County restaurant will open Nov. 11 and the eatery is looking to hire 275 staff for it.

The popular California chain will be at the Tampa Premium Outlets off of Interstate 75 and State Road 56 in Lutz.

With less than two months before the opening, the restaurant has put out a call for applicants with openings for bartenders, bussers, cashiers, dessert finishers/ baristas, dishwashers, hosts, line cooks, prep cooks and servers.

The pay, according to Cheesecake Factory’s Lutz website, ranges from $13 per hour to $16 per hour for hosts to $16.50 per hour to $21 per hour for line cooks and stewards.

Interested candidates are asked to apply online.

The Cheesecake Factory was founded in 1972 and offers about 250 menu items. It currently has 23 locations in Florida, six of those are along the Gulf Coast: Naples, Sarasota, Estero, Tampa, Clearwater and Brandon.

While the chain is a popular establishment where long lines of suburban diners queue up for tables, the company traces its roots to the California of the 1970s. David Overton, the son of the founders, chair and CEO, opened the The Cheesecake Factory Bakery’s first restaurant in 1978 in Beverly Hills.

Before that, he drummed for a band that once shared a bill with Janis Joplin.

Tampa Premium Outlets is a 441,000-square-foot outlet shopping center in Pasco.
