A penthouse apartment in a Fort Myers development on the Caloosahatchee River has sold for $5.3 million.

The unit is in the One Fort Myers building, a 21-story luxury tower under construction at 2581-2585 First St.

The real estate firm Serhant, which represents the developers, says the unit is a duplex on the 20th and 21st floors. It is 5,381 square feet with 2,197 square feet of exterior space.

The unit has four bedrooms, five full bathrooms and one half bathroom.

The buyer was not disclosed.

One Fort Myers, which is just outside the Historic River District in downtown, is made up of 34 units with private entrance elevators, chef-inspired kitchens, smart-home technology, high ceilings and river views.

Prices start at $1.25 million, and about 40% of the units are already sold.

Construction is expected to be completed by mid-2027.
