Acting, skateboarding and farming, on the surface, have little in common.

Throw in racing Hondas, hiking at national parks and chasing human traffickers and it gets seemingly even more random.

But not in the Business Observer.

All those activities, on an individual level, are passions, hobbies and pastimes for an executive or business owner on the west coast of Florida. We write about these every January in an issue we call Diversions. The goal: Showcase what business, community and civic leaders in the region do when they aren’t at work.

We want to hear from you. What do you and your colleagues do for fun when you aren't working? Email Business Observer Managing Editor Mark Gordon at [email protected]. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 14.
