Wealth Warden Partners is planning to grow and is adding office space to accommodate its expansion.

The Tampa investment management firm announced Thursday it is hiring 30 new employees over the next five years. Among the positions it is looking to add are a chief investment officer, portfolio managers, analysts and economists.

To make room for the additions, the firm says it has negotiated to expand to an additional larger office and take over the entire floor for the next year at its current space — 633 N. Franklin St.

In an email through a spokesperson, Wealth Warden, which currently has six full-time employees, says, “as we continue expanding we are planning potentially” to relocate “somewhere downtown or on Water Street.”

According to the Tampa Bay Economic Development Council, Wealth Warden’s decision to expand speaks to the strength of the financial and professional services sector in Hillsborough County.

Jobs in the sector grew 12% between 2020 and 2024 and are projected to increase by 6% through 2029. (The EDC cites Lightcast Data Set as its source.)

For 2024, the average annual wage for financial and professional services jobs in the county were $118,412.

Wealth Warden Partners works with business owners and families, providing, it says, comprehensive wealth management and strategic controller services with business consulting.
