A national professional advisory firm headquartered in Michigan announced plans Monday to join forces with Tampa CPA firm Teeling & Co., merging the two female-led companies together by Jan. 1, 2026.

Rehmann, based in Troy, Michigan will absorb Tampa’s Teeling & Co., according to a release. Teeling & Co.’s employees will remain with the firm, which will take on the Rehmann name, and will continue to work out of the company’s existing downtown Tampa office, located at 110 E. Madison St. FInancial terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

The merger is meant to further expand Rehmann’s footprint in Florida beyond its existing Orlando and Bonita Springs offices, the release states. The 80-year-old firm employs more than 1,100 associates in offices across Michigan, Ohio and Florida, with others working remotely throughout the U.S. The company provides accounting and assurance, business solutions and outsourcing, specialized consulting and wealth management services.

Teeling & Co. was co-founded in 2017 by Barbara Teeling and her daughter Ashlie Teeling, both CPAs with accounting degrees from the University of South Florida. The mother-daughter work with business owners, executives and independent professionals with an emphasis on guiding entrepreneurs through the life cycle of their businesses. Teeling & Co. specializes in tax planning, accounting solutions, CFO outsourcing, and succession planning.

By joining Rehmann, we’re participating in a larger repository of knowledge, which will allow us to offer our clients a more robust services team, and further solidify our legacy.”
