Naples construction firm DeAngelis Diamond, the fourth largest contractor in the region based on annual revenue, is expanding its Sarasota/Tampa division with two new leadership hires.

The firm named Nate Beachy director of business development and John Procaccini project executive. Beachy was most recently president of Sutter’s Quality Foods, a Sarasota-based family-run maker and distributor of dairy, egg and ice cream products. He will be responsible for “developing, implementing and managing a growth strategy that builds authentic relationships, promotes effective collaboration and ensures positive outcomes for our team members, clients, design partners and trade partners throughout the Sarasota and Tampa markets,” according to a statement.

Procaccini, according to the release, has more than 13 years of construction experience and will “be instrumental in leading Tampa teams.” His portfolio has nearly $1 billion in construction projects, the firm says, including health care, pharmaceutical, sports, mixed-use and commercial. Notable projects he has overseen include LG Electronics’ North American headquarters, manufacturing lines for Ion Labs, the Steinbrenner Field Clubhouse expansion and Honeywell’s global headquarters. Procaccini, according to his LinkedIn profile, was a project executive and manager with New York City-based Turner Construction Co. before joining DeAngelis Diamond in April.

“At DeAngelis Diamond, we believe everything starts with the right people,” says Scott Beck, vice president and division manager of the firm’s Sarasota/Tampa Division. “Nate and John not only bring exceptional talent, but they also embody the culture and core values that define who we are.”

DeAngelis Diamond specializes in commercial, multifamily and health care construction. Founded in 1996, it had $590 million in revenue in 2024, up 23.17% from $479 million in 2023.
