Fort Myers-based Paragon Flight Training says it now has a Piper-exclusive fleet, a move that was part of its 2022 strategic plan aimed in part on fleet modernization.

The company says it now owns 32 Piper aircraft, 31 of which are Piper P100i. It has six other P100i planes set to be delivered by the end of summer.

Paragon is a flight training academy based at Page Field and with schools in Punta Gorda and LaGrange, Georgia. The company says it has more than 34,000 square feet of training facilities.

In a statement, Paragon says it owns approximately 15% of the Piper P100i aircraft in existence.

“Our partnership with Piper goes back to 2021 and is based on our experience that the Piper P100i aircraft is an exceptional training platform and the gold standard in the industry,” Paragon’s President Chris Schoensee says in the statement.

In addition to the aircraft, the company says Schoensee went to France in June to secure delivery of two new ALSIM AL100i flight simulators.

The simulator is specifically designed for training on the P100i.
