A New Jersey-based investment advisory company focused on high-net-worth clients has made a strategic investment in a Sarasota financial firm.

Summit Financial, which helps advisors provide family office services and optimize growth, has invested in LPF Advisors.

Based off Cattlemen Road in Live Oak Corporate Center, LPF Advisors oversees more than $277 million in client assets as of April 15, according to a statement. It offers wealth management services such as customized financial planning and investment advice. According to its website, LPF Advisors specializes in helping clients prepare for and transition into retirement. In addition to its corporate headquarters in Sarasota, the firm has offices in Lakeland, Tampa and St. Petersburg,

By joining the Summit Financial platform, LPF Advisors will have access to a professional strategy team of attorneys, tax specialists, financial planners and investment strategists.

“We’re excited to gain access to Summit’s technology and investment resources, letting us elevate our services and meet the unique needs of each client,” co-founder of LPF Advisors Kristopher Flammang says in a statement.

LPF Advisors is one of four advisory firms in which Summit Financial invested recently. The others are Crow Financial Advisors in Albuquerque; Everest Consultants in Syracuse; and Heritage Wealth Partners in Dublin, Ohio. Combined, the four firms manage $1.2 billion in client assets.

“Each partnership reinforces our core belief that true independence, paired with Summit’s enhanced capabilities and modern resources, creates the best environment for advisors to thrive,” Summit’s Head of Growth and Business Development Keith Soltis says in a statement.

Summit Financial did not disclose the amount of its strategic investments. It collaborated in the deals with Merchant Investment Management LLC. So far in 2025, Summit has completed 11 investments, including these. The company and its partner firms have more than 150 advisors in 23 states managing more than $20 billion in client assets as of July 21.
