EōS Fitness is expanding and has signed leases for two new locations along the Gulf Coast.
The new gyms are part of an expansion for the chain, which has opened 12 locations in the state and has 11 more on the way.
The latest gyms to be announced are in St. Petersburg and Fort Myers. Each is scheduled to open next year EōS says in a statement.
The St. Petersburg gym is going into the Seville Shops shopping center near the city’s Skyway Marina District. The 38,392-square-foot space was formerly occupied by Bealls.
In Fort Myers, EōS is moving into the Shoppes at Pelican Preserve at the intersection of Colonial Boulevard and the Interstate 75 interchange. The 40,000-square-foot gym will be the company's first in Southwest Florida.
EōS, according to its website, currently has 208 gyms open or near open in Arizona, California, Texas, Utah and Nevada.
In Florida, seven are open along the Gulf Coast — one each in Sarasota, Lutz, Land O’Lakes, Hudson, and Riverview as well as two in Tampa.
