Swig, the chain of dirty soda shops, is continuing its Florida expansion with a new Fort Myers location to open next year.

The shop will be in the University Crossing shopping center at 13401 Summerlin Road.

Dirty sodas, according to Food & Wine magazine, is “one that’s mixed or topped with syrup, juice, or cream.”

Swig’s offerings this month include specialties like Mistletoe Madness — water, sugar free vanilla, cranberry, fresh lemon and strawberry puree — and regular drinks like Dr. De Leche — Dr Pepper, dulce de leche, vanilla sauce and vanilla cream.

The 1,200-square-foot shop will be the chain’s first in Southwest Florida and fourth in the state. Of those, two are along the Gulf Coast, with one each in Bradenton and Lutz. Several more, including another in Pasco County, are coming soon according to the company’s website.

LQ’s Tom Strauss and Jessica McEvoy represented Swig in the transaction.
